At 14:00, May 21, the Large-scale Public Welfare Activity of “Two Trade Unions Interact, Let Love Pass on” and the Garbage Classification Publicity Activity sponsored by Taopu Town Federation of Trade Unions are launched at Xinlin Tiandi. Zhuang Hua, chairman of Taopu Town People’s Congress; Luo Bixian, deputy secretary of Taopu Town Party Committee and secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission; Gu Huiming, vice chairman of Taopu Town People’s Congress and chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions; Xu Wangli, director of the Publicity and Education Department of Putuo District Federation of Trade Unions; Chen Guiping, vice chairman of Taopu Town Federation of Trade Unions; and Bu Lingtong, secretary of the Party Committee and president of the board of Shanghai Yingfu Investment Co., Ltd. have attended the spot personally. At the same time, there are more than 500 persons including the chairman of the trade unions from the park, villages and the companies as well as the clerks, employees and masses attending the activity.
At the beginning of the activity, Taopu Town Federation of Trade Unions commended the collective and individual acts who have performed well in the “Two Trade Unions Interact 2018”. Here, 4 enterprises including Shunho Stock have won the Excellent Organization Award and the Outstanding Contribution Award of Taopu Town “Two Trade Unions Interact 2018”.
The project of “Two Trade Unions Interact, One Heart One Dream” of Taopu Town Federation of Trade Unions has been implemented in 2017. The project takes the establishment of “Two-Trade Union” Interaction Mechanism of the enterprise trade union and the community federation of trade unions as entry point, improves the weakness, promotes the development, truly stimulates the vitality of all grass-roots trade unions through innovation and transformation from top to bottom, encourages the trade unions at all levels to continuously innovate service models, strengthen the protection of the employees' rights and interests and implement various kinds of democratic supervision to achieve the “Two-Trade Union” resource sharing, make their respective advantages complementary to each other, serve the employees and benefit the public.
In order to actively response to the municipal garbage classification management hotspot and welcome the official implementation of the Regulations of Shanghai on the Management of Household Wastes on July 1, Taopu Town Federation of Trade Unions puts forward a proposal of “Fully Pull the Strength of Trade Unions, Fight the Garbage Classification Battle” to the employees and the town masses, and national model worker Yang Zhaoshun, as representative, read the proposal, calling on the employees and masses of the federation of trade unions to truly “Turn it up” and “Live it up” , make garbage classification popular and become a new trend of social environmental protection; also calling on the employees and the masses to make joint efforts to achieve a “clean, orderly, graceful, institutionalized, harmless” environment for the town.
The activity spot is consisted of four areas including elegant display, volunteer service, corporate promotion and giving tree. Nearly 30 enterprises have provided the volunteer service at the scene. Yang Chunsheng and Li Guoping of Shunho Stock’s Volunteer Service Station have joined the on-site small appliance maintenance volunteer service activity. During the period of the activity, various forms of the cultural program including song and dance, recitation, Yoga performance and chorus, award presentation and garbage classification advocacy activity take place simultaneously. As the ecological civilization enters the five-year plan for the first time, China attaches more and more importance to environmental protection. How to solve household wastes, one of the most important pollution sources in the city, has become a difficult point and a painful point of urban environmental protection.
